1. Quick-Glance Summary

  • Refund speed: 3–5 business days after we inspect the item.

  • Who pays return shipping? We cover it on defective or wrong items; otherwise, you do.

2. Eligibility Checklist

3. How to Start a Return

  1. E-mail returns@grumpydadco.com with your order #, reason, and clear photos (if damaged/defective).

  2. We’ll reply within 1 business day with a prepaid label or next steps.

  3. Pack the item securely. Slide the blade guard back on; don’t use duct tape on bare steel (true story).

  4. Drop the parcel at any UPS/USPS location within 7 days of receiving the label.

  5. You’ll receive a confirmation e-mail once the package is scanned into the system.


4. Refunds

  • After inspection, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.

  • Processing time: 3–5 business days (banks can take a smidge longer).

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless we messed up.

  • Need the cash faster? Opt for a store credit; it’s issued same day and never expires.


5. Exchanges

Want a different size or model?

  • Request an exchange when you e-mail us.

  • We’ll ship the replacement as soon as your return is in transit (tracking shows movement).

  • If the replacement costs more/less, we’ll bill or refund the difference automatically.


6. Gifts

Returned a gift?

  • We’ll issue store credit to the gift recipient once we receive the item.

  • If the gift giver wants the refund instead, just let us know in the initial e-mail.


7. Damaged or Defective

We stand by every blade. If yours shows up dinged, chipped, or otherwise tragic:

  1. Snap photos of the damage and the shipping box.

  2. E-mail returns@grumpydadco.com within 7 days of delivery.

  3. We’ll ship a replacement or issue a full refund (your choice) at our cost.


8. International Orders

  • Return shipping from outside the U.S. is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective.

  • Mark the parcel “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value” to avoid customs delays.

  • Duties/taxes paid at import are non-refundable—check with your local customs office for potential rebates.


9. Late or Missing Refunds

Still waiting after the 5-day window?

  1. Double-check your bank or credit-card account.

  2. Contact your bank—posting times vary.

  3. If it’s been 10 business days, e-mail us; we’ll chase the processor for you.
